Lantana, la lantana, és un gènere de Sudamèrica, també amb espècies a Àfrica, és a dir, pantropical. Sobretot l’espècie neotropical Lantana camara, anomenada tomateta amb ou, és plantada com a ornamental i s’ha naturalitzat en alguns indrets a Eivissa i Formentera.
